1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between the Tourist Guide – Costin-Cristian Cobanu (“the Provider”) and the person who purchases or participates in the tourism services (“the Client”). By booking or participating in any tour, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.


2. Scope of Services

The Provider offers tourist guiding services, including but not limited to:

  • walking tours,
  • tours using private or public transportation,
  • assistance with visiting tourist attractions,
  • cultural, historical, and informational presentations.

The Provider may collaborate with travel agencies, transport providers, or other third parties without assuming responsibility for their activities.


3. Bookings and Payments

3.1. A booking becomes confirmed after confirmation and/or payment of the requested deposit.
3.2. Payment may be made via:

  • cash,
  • bank transfer,
  • card (if available).

3.3. Prices include only the services specified in the offer. Additional costs (entrance fees, transportation, meals, etc.) are borne by the Client unless otherwise stated.


4. Cancellations and Refunds

4.1. The Client may cancel the services as follows:

  • Cancellation more than 48 hours before the tour → full refund of the deposit.
  • Cancellation 24–48 hours before the tour → 50% refund of the deposit.
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before the tour or no-show → no refund.

4.2. In case of adverse weather or unforeseen circumstances, the Provider may reschedule the tour or issue a full refund.


5. Client Obligations

The Client agrees to:

  • follow the guide’s instructions during the tour;
  • arrive at the agreed meeting point and time;
  • behave respectfully and appropriately;
  • have a physical condition suitable for the type of tour.

The Provider reserves the right to exclude from the tour, without refund, any person under the influence of alcohol or drugs or displaying aggressive or inappropriate behavior.


6. Provider Obligations

The Provider undertakes to:

  • provide accurate and relevant information;
  • ensure the tour is conducted under reasonable safety conditions;
  • respect the agreed schedule, subject to unforeseen circumstances (traffic, access restrictions, weather conditions).

7. Liability and Limitations

7.1. The Provider is not responsible for:

  • accidents or losses resulting from the Client’s negligence;
  • delays caused by external factors (traffic, protests, weather conditions);
  • services provided by third parties (transportation, restaurants, museums, etc.).

7.2. Participation in the tour is at the Client’s own risk.


8. Personal Data Protection (GDPR)

The Provider collects only the data necessary to process bookings (name, phone number, email address). Data will not be disclosed to third parties except where required for tour execution or by law.
The Client has the right to access, rectify, and delete their data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679.


9. Photography and Media Materials

Photos or videos may be taken during the tour for promotional purposes. The Client may request not to appear in such materials by informing the guide before the tour begins.


10. Force Majeure

The Provider is not liable for cancellations or changes caused by force majeure events, including natural disasters, pandemics, conflicts, or official restrictions.


11. Disputes

Any disputes will be resolved amicably. If this is not possible, jurisdiction belongs to the courts of [city].


12. Acceptance of Terms

By making a booking or participating in a tour, the Client confirms full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
